Winter has arrived ,so as my favorite month December also. I always enjoy this Christmas season , and these days doing yoga became a part of my life.I am happy for this positive change . There is a saying “Don’t look for Happiness ,just create it” .

Local markets are loaded with seasonal veggies and lots of “Gajak” stalls. Gajak are specially for winters to make you warm which are made of Sesame seeds,jaggery,peanuts etc.

I have prepared these Chikkis with Sesame seeds aka Til.you may add peanuts to it. You can also try a combination of different seeds .

These Crackers can be stored at Room temperature for a long time. Keep in a dry airtight container. You can stored up to two weeks easily.

This a good replacement for all those energy bars available in the market.

  1. In a pan melt jaggery powder at low heat ,add roasted sesame to it and stir slowly.
  2. Now grease a flat steel plate with butter .
  3. Spread the jaggery mixture on it and slowly spread the mixture into thin sheet with the help of a rolling pin. Let it cool a bit. When the mixture is still warm cut into square size with a knife.
  4. Let it cool completely. You can store them up to a month in an airtight container at normal temperature.
