You need unsweetened Cocoa powder and Coffee powder for this chocolate . Coffee brings more intense to the Cake.
There is no use of Baking powder in the Recipe. All you need is Baking Soda and Vinegar.

Cinamon always works well with Chocolate. You can add 1/2 tsp more if you love the aroma. You can skip this too if you don’t like Cinamon.

Cool the Cake properly before slicing.Once cooled ,dust with some powdered vanila-sugar or coconut-sugar before you serve to your guest.The dusting is optional.

And make a little more as no-one will be satisfied with a single piece..

TIPs to Bake Eggless Vegan Chocolate Cake

You need to pre heat the oven for 10 minutes at 170 degree C. This is important step in baking. I use an OTG .
Every Oven acts different. You need to understand the temperature. So the baking time depends on that.I will suggest to check after 20 minutes. If it is not done reduce the temperature to 160 degree C and bake for more 5-10 minutes.

  1. Pre-heat your OTG at 170 degree C for 10 minute. In a bowl sieve all-purpose flour and cocoa powder.
  2. Add baking soda and sugar. Mix well. In 1 cup of hot water add coffee powder and leave for 30 sec sec.Add vinegar,oil. Add vanilla extract and mix once. Add this liquid solution in 3 batches to dry ingredient.
  3. Stir them until they are combined and form a thin batter. Pour this into 6 inch cake-pan.
  4. Bake for 18 to 20 minute until a skewer comes out clean when pinched at the center. Don't over bake it.Once it is baked ,leave that for 5 minute inside the oven. Take it out and cool it before you serve.
  5. Dust with powdered vanilla sugar or coconut sugar before serving.It is optional.
