Pahadi Chicken is a preparation from the Pahadi People of Himachal .Be it language, culture or food ,there is an essence of diversity in pahadi cuisine followed by Gharwal & Kumoin region of North-India.
Firstly you will be impressed by the rustic aroma of their dishes when it will be served at table, it has an unique gastronomy owing to its use of ingredients and ways of preparation.
They use very minimal spices ,fresh ingredients & most importantly they cook with so much love which results a palatable meal always. Earlier i shared Gharwai style Chicken curry soon after my trip to Lansdowne, Uttrakhand.
This dish is very easy to make ,you just need to marinate the chicken for a minimum of 2 hour. You can even marinate it overnight . To cook you don’t even need your brain to work. Place the marinated chicken on gas stove and grab a book or spend some time watching you favorite TV show.
In just 15 minute your dish will be ready.I have done a twist to this dish adding smoked lemon flavored butter which really makes the dish a winner at your table.
