Moroccan Orange Cake is a perfect Tea-Cake that you can pair with a cup of Tea or Moroccan spiced Coffee .
You can also serve this Moroccan Orange Cake with Orange Marmalade syrup as a Dessert after meal.
Moroccan food is incredibly diverse. Moroccan cooking is revered for creative flavor combinations using aromatic spices .The addition of Orange zest and Rose water brings an aromatic smell to this cake.
You can also add orange blossom water to it for that extra zing.Though I have not added.
In traditional way butter is used in preparing this Moroccan Orange Cake ,I have used Canola Oil. You can replace oil with same quantity of melted butter .
Today evening was pleasant with a good amount of rain.Rain is the best thing that can happen during Summer hot Days. Thankfully I finished baking before that.You can guess how my evening was !

Nagpur Oranges are no more in Season .I picked a variety of Oranges with thick-skin yesterday. You can get a good amount of zest from them. And I just love that smell !!

You can glaze this Cake with a Marmalade syrup or Orange syrup .The texture is bit dry. But I found it perfect with a cup of tea without glaze.
