“Breakfast like a king, lunch like a common man and dinner like a pauper ” goes a famous saying . And I simply can’t think my day without a good filling breakfast.

I am not much fond of Oats ,muesli to make them part of my breakfast ,rather i enjoy all Indian breakfast like Poha ,Puri-sabzi ,Upma or a plate of Idli-sambar.

Do you know ,researchers have found that even when the same amount of calories are consumed daily that dieters who eat breakfast lose on average 50% more weight than dieters who skip breakfast .So don’t skip this Important Meal of the day if you are on diet.

Breakfast kick-starts your metabolism, helping you burn calories throughout the day. It immediately raises the body’s energy level restoring the blood glucose level to normal after a fast.

Breakfast literally means ‘Breaking the Fast’, hence fueling the body with nutrition to carry on with the daily activities.

Today i am going to start a #‎BReaKurFastSeries‬ where i will be sharing Famous Indian Breakfast from different part.

Today the dish is “Egg-bhurji Bun with Pickled Onion”..

Egg-bun is very common breakfast & easy to prepare when you are in real hurry ..

Just add some pickled onion ,it gonna tangle and tease the taste bud for sure !!

  1. Take a pan ,heat oil. Chop one onion and add to oil. Fry for a minute .
  2. Add chopped green chili ,salt to it.
  3. Beat eggs in a bowl well with black pepper added to it, add this mixture to pan.
  4. Stir slowly ,so that eggs get scrambled.
  5. Adjust salt ,add chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Egg bhurji is prepared.
  6. Now take another onion and cut into thin rings. Heat a pan at low flame ,add Mango pickle masala oil and onion to it.saute for 30 sec only.
  7. Take a bun ,cut into two part. Add sufficient egg bhurji ,top with pickled onion rings. Enjoy ..
Recipe Notes

Note : Egg has always a little salt in it.So adjust salt accordingly.
