A Bengali meal is always incomplete without a fish item.Either it’s a fish fry or a curry like macher kalia, macher jhol ,bhapa ilish or doi maach ,each dish has it’s own charm & delicacy.
I promised my sister few days back that i will post a fish dish which can be prepared in just 30 minute without making her fall beyond the comfort zone.
Being born & brought up in a family where the impact of Bengali culture is more ,i am very much familiar with this cuisine since my childhood. Not only cuisine i do love to spend my time listening to a Bengali song ,the sweetest language to me so far
So here i am with such a dish which is truly robust , a taste that lingers in your mouth.
The recipe of “Doi Maach” that i am going to share is very easy to follow ,just marinate the fish for 15 to 20 minute and slow cook for 15 minute. Voila ,your dish is ready .Life is so simple ,isn’t it !!
If you don’t like to use Rohu , go for boneless fish . You can try bhetki too ,the one i used in paturi dish.
