Today something will share not from my kitchen..A tempting dish straight away from my mom’s kitchen..Those who have read yesterday post, now must have guessed that i am talking about my recent holidays at Bhubaneswar. Dedicating this post to my super woman in life who always trust me..guide me and loves me the most . A source of positiveness to me when my mind behave negative..Happy Women’s Day Maa .
While coming back from morning walk with parents , got excited like a child from other side of the road seeing the yellow fresh pumpkin flowers. The man selling 5 of them for Rs 10. Bought two bunches.
Mom always makes fritters out of them which are on little sweeter side. This time she made them in a different flavor. With goodness of garlic those are little spicy but full of flavor.
Make a thick batter of rice flour, garlic paste, chili paste, salt, cumin powder and water.
Wash the flowers and pat them dry with tea towel.Dip one flower at a time in the batter on both side.Shallow fry on a tawa or flat pan with little oil.It will take 2-3 min to cook on each side of a flower.
Enjoy hot..
Recipe Notes
Note : You can soak rice for 30 min ,than make a fine paste of it.It will give a nice smooth texture.

Lovely! Just the way we make it – only we stuff one flower within the other so that we get more taste of the flower. 🙂
